I have gotten to know Chuck and his family well over the last four years, as we discovered and worked to address the serious issue of the carcinogen ethylene oxide being present in our air. Chuck cares greatly about our community and the health of the residents of Lake County. Recently, he has worked to develop an integrated Land Use/Zoning ordinance to contain toxic chemicals in Waukegan. I recommend voting for him for the Lake County Board District 8.

Chuck has experience, integrirty and environmental credentials having been highly involved in the fight to stop ETO pollution in Waukegan/Gurnee and to remove the coal ash stored at the closed power plant on Waukegan's lake front. He fully understands that the new 7,000-foot runway is not needed other than to allow corporate jets to fly a bit further without refueling.
